How am I made?
This belt has been handmade by our specialist craftsmen in Spain using full grain premium quality Italian calf leather. Each belt we make is crafted using the traditional beltmaking skills and techniques that are so valued in a region with a long and distinguished history of leather working. The end result is a unique Elliot Rhodes design that has been brought to life with great care, attention and passion.

CHOOSING YOUR BELT SIZE BASED ON AN EXISTING BELT
This is the easiest way to ensure that you get your belt size spot on. It is much safer than looking at the waist size indicated on trousers as those are generally not accurate and tend to underestimate waist sizes.
Here's a video explaining how to do this:
To choose your size based on an existing belt simply take a tape measure and follow the steps below:
1) Take the belt that fits you best and measure in centimetres the whole leather length – as shown:
2) From this measurement simply subtract 15cm. This is your actual waist size and therefore the size you need to order! For example if your existing belt measurement is 100cm end to end you need to order Size 85.
If your current belt (the one you measured) is currently either too short or too long for you then add or subtract some length accordingly.
If your precise requirement falls between sizes (in other words you need a size that is not on our dropdown menu) not a problem, we can make your belt precisely to any measurement. Simply scroll to the bottom of the dropdown size menu and select 'I would like a custom size' and type your specific request in the box that appears. As an example, if your current belt measures 102cm end to end, after subtracting 15cm you will be left with 87cm, so just put that you would like a belt size 87cm!
There is a ‘customer note’ field on each product page where you can add any comments you may have before adding your belt to the basket. Please feel free to use that section for your specific requests.

More tips for choosing the perfect belt size
How will I wear this belt?
Waist? Hips? Both? On jeans or on thinner fabric? Jeans are heavier than other fabrics so allow for this...see our size chart for further guidance.
Do I like long tips or short tips?
This is the length of the belt tip once the belt is buckled up. As standard we size to the first of the 3 holes (the one nearest the tip) which gives a good length tip. With bigger/chunkier buckles we prefer in general to size the belt a little longer to the middle of the 3 holes as this gives a better look to the belt. We don’t like the tip to look too short relative to the buckle.
Belt Holes
All Elliot Rhodes belts come with three holes positioned at a distance of 15cm, 17.5cm and 20cm away from the tip (The holes are 2.5cm / 1” apart). For Internet orders by default we also punch an extra hole for greater size flexibility at 22.5cm from the tip.

Delivery & Returns
Delivery
Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
**Update 01/01/21 - From today all shipments made to destinations outside of the UK will be shipped exclusive of UK VAT. This means that the current VAT /Tax) portion of 20% that is normally added to all UK goods will be removed. Prices that appear on our website include VAT but at checkout and on entering a non UK shipping destination these prices will change and the VAT will be removed, reducing your basket price.
Please note that as a result you will be liable for your local Tax/VAT when the shipment arrives in your country. This is a new situation for our EU customers but has always been the case for all other worldwide destinations.
In addition and unavoidably there may also be a customs clearance fee levied by your local Customs Authority and DHL - this varies according to shipment value/destination and local import limits but as an estimate for EU countries this will normally amount to approximately 30 Euro per shipment. This charge is sadly out of our control.

Items sent with DHL can be tracked at all times but please ensure you provide us with your e-mail address and mobile phone number to receive all of the latest updates on your shipment. Please note that a signature will be required on delivery.
Customs, Duty & taxes
Handling and custom fees may apply to packages sent outside the E.U. Any duties payable will be the sole responsibility of the customer and may need to be paid at the time of delivery. Please note that should you decide to return your order for refund we will be unable to refund you any costs you may have incurred for local duty/taxes.
Delivery Address
We do not deliver to P.O. Box, BFPO or freight forwarding addresses. Depending on the policy of your credit company we may only able to deliver to your debit/credit card billing address.
Delivery Delay Notification
If we are unable for any reason to fulfil your order as planned we will contact you to let you know our earliest possible shipment date. Should the delay be unacceptable to you then we will immediately give you a full refund.
We understand that sometimes things go wrong on our side or are not quite as you would like. In exactly the same way as we would look after you in one of our stores we will endeavour to offer you the same after sales service for your online purchase. The most important thing to us is to make sure that you have an Elliot Rhodes product that you love and will enjoy using.
First things first, for all online purchases we offer a no quibble exchange or refund guarantee. So, if you are not happy with your purchase just return it to us, in its original and unworn condition, within 14 days of receipt and we will either send out a replacement product or refund you the purchase price.
Please note that items that have been Personalised (embossed) cannot be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.
With every order we send out you will find a Return & Exchange form which is relatively self explanatory. We would just ask that you fill in the relevant parts and pop this form into your package. This will help us handle your return without delay.
Shipping Costs
If you decide to return your order for refund we will of course refund the full value of your order excluding the original shipping cost (unless the item we sent was faulty in which case we will also refund your original shipping charge). The cost of returning the goods to us will however be your responsibility.
Please note that handling and customs fees may have been applied to packages that we have sent outside the UK. If you decide to return your order for refund we will be unable to refund you any costs you may have incurred for any handling/customs fees (unless the product we sent you was faulty), although you may be able to reclaim these through your local tax office.
If we have made an error by sending out an incorrect product or the original product was faulty and are providing you with an alternative product we will compensate you for the cost of your return shipping and of course cover the cost of getting the correct product to you. Please note that where you have ordered an incorrect size this cannot be considered a faulty product.
If you decide to return your purchase for exchange or resizing then you shall be responsible for the cost of returning these goods to us. Elliot Rhodes will cover any costs incurred in returning the new product to you.

What to do if?
The size of my belt is not correct
If your belt does not fit correctly not a problem. Please simply take off the buckle and return the strap to us indicating how much larger or smaller you need your strap to be.
I like the belt but not the buckle
Simply take the buckle off the strap and send us back the buckle indicating which alternative style you would rather have.
I’ve had my belt for a while and lost some weight
Congratulations! Just send us back your belt strap with a note telling us how much you would like your belt shortened by. There is no cost for this service and we will cover the cost of getting your belt back to you.
A crystal has come out of my buckle
>Unfortunately on occasion these things can happen but not to worry. Just send us back your buckle and we will endeavour to replace the crystal. We have a large stock of crystals and normally can do this quite quickly but on occasion we will have to send your buckle away for repair which may take longer. Whatever happens we will let you know on receipt what we are doing and give you an approximate timescale for the repair.
Something has gone wrong with my belt
Nothing is perfect but the most important thing for you to know is that we stand by our products for as long as you own them. Whether it be a broken stitch or a screw that has come loose just send us your belt so that we can have a look at it. In most cases we can carry out a quick repair in house but on occasion we may have to send your belt back to our factory. Either way we’ll let you know what we are doing and give you an approximate timescale for the repair. In general there is no cost for this but when assessing your belt we will have to take into account its age and usage. If there is going to be any charge we will let you know before proceeding with any repair.
